1. June's Remote Viewing challenge - instructions |
|
|
| RV instructions Welcome to the second Remove Viewing challenge. Everyone is invited to join. No special skills are needed. It costs nothing. The
second Remove Viewing will be just like the first. The ASD
Psiberdreaming Conference 2003 featured a Remote Viewing contest
organized by Dale Graff. Like the previous time, we will again follow
Dale Graff's approach closely. There is one difference. It is a secret
who is playing "Dale". Special occasion
The
date and time for the RV were selected by the target provider, and mark
a special occasion. June 8th is the day of a rare Venus transit. This
transit is speculated to bring the world enhanced psi possibilities. The
transit itself takes seven hours. We tried to pick a time that would
get as many people as possible close to the time of the transit. http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/transit/TV2004.html http://www.earthrainbownetwork.com/Archives2004/VenusTransit.htm http://www.experiencefestival.com/index.php/topic/venus_transit Target and date
Dale's
approach means that the target provider will be actually at the target
location, and will try to send the target to the viewers for 30
minutes. The target provider makes photo's that will be shown later. The date is set for Tuesday, June 8, 2004. The target provider will start sending at the following time: - Sydney, Brisbane: 7pm (sorry) - Istanbul: 12 am (only just after) - Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen: 11 am - London: 10 am - New York: 5 am (best seats, and most of you are early birds, right?) - Los Angeles: 2 am (anyone here from that timezone?) For more times, see Time and Date.com Too early? It will also work when you do it later. Submitting results
There are a few rules when you want to officially join the challenge. You're
expected to send in a description of the location, obviously. One or
more sketches will greatly help. Email your results to the target
provider of this month, at the following email address: RVTarget@yahoo.com, and make sure to do so within 72 hours after the start of this challenge. Simply add three days to the time above. Please note: this is a new address. Do not use Laura's address that was used with the first challenge, use this new one. Discussion of the results
After
the three days, I will open a discussion thread, introduce the target
provider to you all, and ask you to post your results online. About
deciding who wins. It depends on what we consider important about the
description. We could approach it as a way to locate the target. Or we
could approach it as an exploration of the target. I suggest we give
more weight to the first, the usefulness of the description for
locating the target. There are no other
guidelines yet on deciding who wins. The target provider will accept
advice on how to decide, but is the only one who gets to make the final
decision. Good luck! Harry P.S. Did I mention the challenge is open to everyone? Give it a try, it's fun! There's a webpage with some background information.

Okay
Harry - I'm in again - this is the "round earth effect" isn't it! You
post late your night - and here I am waiting in morning sunlight to
respond. The time's not bad either Harry - decidedly better than the last time. And fun to make it coincide with the transit of venus. Kathy |

Harry - The timing's pretty good for end-of-night dreaming for us on the East Coast of the U.S., too! Curt |

| Harry - I have to agree with Curt that the end of the night dreaming potential here on the East Coast is going to be fun! Looking forward to flipping over to the other side of the RV challenge this time around. Peace, Laura A. |

| Hi Harry; I
am in too. Much more excited this time. I think I am gaining my self
esteem in awake RV experiences after last month. This time I will also
try precognative dreaming before the sending time and mor focused at
the time of sending which is a good time for me. I wish luck to
everybody - ilkin |

| Hi all, Kathy,
on the internet it usually feels like you are following after me, but
with this RV we will all be following you and Victoria. And any other
Australians who join. Good to hear everyone likes the time. It would be fun to have somebody from Honolulu too. When
submitting, make sure to mention whether it is a RV or dream you are
submitting. You can do both if you want, but only one of each maximum.

| Hi LizLynne! Good to see you here. Well, it can only get better, and I'm sure it will. I learned there was one PST time viewer the previous time. With you, there are now two. More are welcome of course. Yes, the place is what's needed, and it can be anything anywhere. Even in Honolulu. I
added you to my RV mailinglist, so you'll get a reminder. Anyone else
who wants reminders for this and future RV's, email me at hbosma@xs4all.nl, and I'll add you to the list.

| Hey Harry and Psi-sters (and brothers) it'll be fun to be all hanging together in an RV... Maybe Phil King from Honolulu would join? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yes, the place is what's needed, and it can be anything anywhere. Even in Honolulu. |

| I'll
be there too, but I will probably try to have a precognitive dream,
because on Tuesday 11 a.m. my boss expects me to concentrate on my work
instead of on a remote viewing target location! Nice to let this RV challenge coincide with the Venus transit. Cheers, Berthe |

|
| Now,
here's a thought: since we are going to be viewing the target object
from a number of different locations around the globe, some in the same
time zone (more or less north or south of the target), many others not
(east or west of the target), it might be interesting if it turned out
that the perspective from which we viewed it represented the direction it was in relative to where we are situated! This is where the sketches might come in handy. Then again, my dream for last month's contest featured both a directional view and a bird's eye view. Curt |

last updated at Jun 03, 2004 10:04 a.m. (1 times) Interesting
idea Curt. I usually have a hard time determining east or west, but as
you point out, perhaps the direction reveals something. I'll ask the
target provider for east / west information.Berthe, Kay, nice to hear you will give it a try. Diana and Bjo, welcome too. That's two more for the west coast. Craig, I couldn't find the address of Phil, but Rita volunteered to invite him. |

Harry - I don't think it would be so important for the remote viewer
to know what the direction was (though I frequently do have a sense of
this in my dreams, and pretty nearly always in waking life), but
perhaps if each of us gave our general location in our posts, our
target provider could work this out and see if there was any
correlation. Curt |

| Bumping this up as a reminder that the RV will start within the next 24 hours. Curt,
I'll pass your idea on in the email reminders I'm going to send now,
and request to include a general indication of the position of the
viewer.

Harry - I
was discussing the RV challenge with some folks last night and my wife
suggested another wrinkle: what would happen if 2 or 3 people served as
senders of the same target? Would that enhance the strength of the
message? Curt |

|
| Hi Curt, That's
an interesting idea. I was also thinking of trying without sending, see
whether we really need it. Combined we could first do one without
sending, followed by one with multiple senders. Another
thing I've been thinking about, is a prize for the first viewer to
reach "as-if-there" accuracy. That will be something that could perhaps
start with a next challenge.

Hello Everbody; My
remote viewing responsibility is successfully over, eventhough my
computer tricked me a little on downloading the photos and information
to send. Please send your RV descriptions, sketches, impressions, etc to: RVTarget@yahoo.com.
In the email, please explain to me if you are submitting a "waking" RV
or a "dream" RV description before the deadline. Please write every
little detail you remember which may be related with our interesting
target. Remember the Venus transit will have positive effects on our
psi and you still have time. Good luck to everybady. RVTarget |
