Childhood

No one really believed in dreams, at least the kind you have at night. I don't think they believed in aspirational dreams either. Mine we're certainly crushed, destroyed, and thrown away often enough.

Turning point

The thing that made me really start believing in the power of dreams is when I accurately predicted a car accident I was in during my sophomore year in high school. I saw both automobiles, where it happened, why it happened, and the exact time when it would happen.

Definition

I basically thought of dreams as a sort of gateway to a different dimension of somewhat surrealistic possibilities.

Now

I'm in my junior year, so I haven't had much time to change my position on my dreams. However, now I do pay about ten times as much attention to my dreams.
