Childhood

My dreams as a child are nothing compared to my dreams as an adult today. I have had only one OBE in my life and although it had been fourteen years since that time, I still remember it as I'm sitting here now.

Turning point

About two years ago my grandmother was telling me about surgery I had fourteen years ago and about the guy I had brought out from under a deep coma in about a minute. He and I met in another alternate plane and he told me he didn't know how to get back, and after a couple of days, that's when I woke him up. After I heard that story, I started to remember what happen and even more amazing is that I remember the man's face and name. So ever since then, I have been reading about dreams, lucid dreams, OBE, and NDE'S.

Definition

I define dream a little perplexing, but nonetheless each one has a story to tell me, and I try to understand them. Here just a couple of days ago I had a dream that a new breed of snakes lived underground. I was attacked by two snakes, and i chopped the first snakes head off with a samurai sword, and the other snake was hauled in a bag by 3 or 4 military guys in uniform. The next thing I knew this other snake just appeared and started talking to me, asking me if I knew where his parents were. I was shocked at first but then I thought, what the heck, why not talk back. Then next I asked if I could see where he lived, and was promised not to be harmed by the others and he said ok. I went before one that was dressed as a king with a crown and he promised that I would never be harmed, and he even gave me permission to come and go, visiting often as I liked, as I pleased. As It turned out all the snakes turned out to be friendly. As strange as this dream may sound, I still have no idea what the heck it means. I also define dreams as a spiritual learning process to teach us about our "other self" and what's in store for us after we move from this world to the next.

Now

I still haven't mastered controlling my dreams as well as I'd like to. Half of the time I don't even know I'm dreaming, yet, I never keep a journal and I remember every single dream I've had since I really got serious about dreams. Holding a state of awareness seems to be no problem for me since I remember the most important detail of my dreams. I will say that my dreams have become more aggressive than late.
